VISION

THE MISSION

BLAUECA exists for a precise reason:
to redefine Occidental menswear.

THE PROCESS

Analyzing inherited structures and conventions.
Reconsidering their alignment with the present.
Proposing renewed interpretations for daily life.

THE RESULT

Overcoming the divide between creativity and wearability.
Design is distinctive yet intuitive, never demonstrative.
A controlled tension between composure and comfort.

METHOD

BLAUECA is based in Paris.

  • It operates through two annual releases: A and B, conceived as complementary parts of an enduring offering.
  • Each piece contributes to a cohesive wardrobe designed to withstand time, both in craftsmanship and in stylistic unity.
  • Every garment is conceived in Paris and entirely produced in Italy, in collaboration with workshops renowned for their expertise and sharing a commitment to responsible practices and dignified labor.
  • The geographic proximity between suppliers and manufacturers allows for greater control over production while reducing environmental impact.
  • Material selection favors natural fibers, sourced in Italy from local suppliers or recovered from surplus industrial stock.
  • Animal derivatives such as leather, fur, feathers, horn, bone or mother-of-pearl are deliberately excluded, with preference given to plant-based alternatives.
  • The use of polyester is limited, and when necessary it may be employed in recycled form.
  • Certifications of traceability and responsibility are pursued wherever possible, ensuring that every choice reflects a commitment to integrity as much as to design.
ORIGIN

Luca Bellavia was born in Italy in 1995, moved to Paris in 2015, and created Blaueca in 2025.

He graduated in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni and, after short periods at Rick Owens and Sonia Rykiel, he spent years at Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, specializing in knitwear product development.

BLAUECA is the culmination of a journey that intertwines personal growth, professional expertise, and a continual search for meaning. It has been created from the conviction that garments are no longer aligned with contemporary values and that they mechanically reproduce structures inherited from the past.

BLAUECA exists to question those structures and to offer a necessary alternative to how we dress for the present.
